This MVP is designed around data minimization. Final legal language and the production CMP vendor must be reviewed before public launch.
Two separate decisions
Diagnostic authorization
Before the first network test, you confirm that you agree to the Terms and are authorized to test the submitted host. We retain the acknowledgement version, timestamp, and a pseudonymous session identifier.
Advertising and privacy consent
Optional advertising consent is separate. The app includes a provider abstraction intended for a certified CMP/IAB TCF integration where required. Declining personalized ads does not disable essential diagnostics. Global Privacy Control is recognized by the client integration and places ad slots in limited mode.
What anonymous runs retain
Run metadata includes the tool, provider, timestamp, quota weight, probe count, outcome, estimated marginal provider cost, pseudonymous actor key, and a salted target hash. Sensitive URL query strings, raw response bodies, arbitrary headers, and full source IP addresses are not placed in diagnostic history.
External processors
Browser-direct distributed measurements are sent from your browser to Globalping. Fixed DNS lookups use Cloudflare DNS over HTTPS. RDAP lookups use the standards-based RDAP bootstrap service. Ad and analytics vendors are not connected in this local build.
